MoboMarket: Sell software like a product, not a file.

MoboMarket pairs a customer storefront with a merchant control center — catalog, checkout, licenses, downloads, reviews and support on one shared database.

Digital product marketplaceIn development Web

Selling code has its own rules: licenses, versions, downloads and support. MoboMarket is built around them instead of around a shopping cart.

The problem

Generic stores don’t understand code.

A source-code sale isn’t finished at checkout. Buyers need license keys, repeat downloads and support. Sellers need control over products, orders, reviews — and over who can see what.

  • License keys handled by hand
  • Download links sent over email
  • Support scattered across inboxes
  • Payment rails that don’t cover every region

The solution

Two apps. One source of truth.

A customer-facing storefront and a separate, role-protected merchant app share one database. Payments run through Stripe globally and Razorpay in India, each with webhook and verification logic.

A storefront and control center for selling code.

Features

What’s inside MoboMarket.

  • A storefront for technical buyers

Search, categories, deals and product pages designed for people buying code, not t-shirts.

  • Two payment rails

Stripe for global checkout and Razorpay for India, with webhook handling and payment verification.

  • License keys

Orders issue license keys that buyers can always find again in their account.

  • Downloads that stay put

Buyers download their .zip files from a customer dashboard — no links lost in email.

  • Built-in support tickets

Buyers open tickets from their account. Merchants answer them from the admin app.

  • A guarded control center

Products, orders, reviews and site settings live in a separate admin app behind role-based access control.

  • Sign-in done properly

Email and password with bcrypt hashing, or Google — through NextAuth.

  • Policies included

License, refund, privacy, terms, FAQ and documentation pages ship with the store.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

  • What can be sold on MoboMarket?

Digital products — source code, UI kits, templates and SaaS boilerplates — delivered as downloadable files with license keys.

  • Which payment providers are supported?

Stripe for global payments and Razorpay for India, each with webhook and verification logic.

  • Is the admin separate from the store?

Yes. The merchant control center is its own Next.js application, guarded by role-based access middleware, sharing a database with the storefront.

  • Which database does it use?

Prisma ORM — SQLite for local development, and PostgreSQL for production.

  • Can I get a marketplace like this?

MoboMarket is in active development. If you need a marketplace built around your product, start a project with us.
